Goddesses I have known at Cafe Gandolfi (2026)In this solo exhibition I have taken the theme of Goddess in very loose terms; those who are familiar with my work will know I work with Witches and Demons of Celtic and Slavic folklore as part of my shared heritage as well as herstorical research on wise wimmin, witchcraft trials and the magic of everyday life sometimes glimpsed in a tree glade or a reflection in a puddle.
I thought succubuses, avenging witches and evil fairies were a bit much when you want to relax and have a convivial drink which is why I've selected, for the most part, less scarey archetypes here.
